Giving Back the Best Way We Know How

Every year, we choose one local non-profit organization to create an advertising campaign for. This gives us a great opportunity to take charge of the development of a campaign, and gives some worthy causes in the area some wonderful advertising.

We take charge of all aspects of the campaign, from coming up with and executing the creative to getting the media to measuring the results. Then, at the annual American Advertising Federation convention, we present our campaign in a competition against other Ad2’s across the country.

Our first Public Service campaign in 2006-07 was for the Business Emergency Planning Association (BEPA) of the Cincinnati chapter of the American Red Cross. More information and work samples from this project are provided in the following section.

We’re always looking for volunteers to help with our campaign. Email the committee chair, Chenney Chen, if you’d like to pitch in.

Client: Cincinnati Area Chapter of American Red Cross, Business Emergency Planning Association

Testimonial:
"This is an extremely capable and professional group. They tackled their work with enthusiasm, creativity and marketing savvy, working on tight budgets and with considerable program limitations."
- Cincinnati Area Chapter of American Red Cross

At wake of 9-11, Cincinnati Red Cross started BEPA (Business Emergency Planning Association) to give local businesses the necessary steps to be protected against community disasters, man-made or natural. We took the value of BEPA and through comprehensive target and market research; designed a media campaign that would increase awareness level. Media value obtained totaled to more than $18,000.

The second objective of our campaign was to incite a call-to-action, therefore we planned a membership drive event that would accrue more members and increase retention among local businesses. Results of the event will be shared at close of the event.

Below are a few samples of the media donated to BEPA. Please click on the images to enlarge them.

This is one example of the print ads that were published in The Downtowner, Cincinnati Business Magazine and BusinessCourier.
